Pursuant to
its mandate, the EIIPD has focused on training, Advocacy, think-tank, and
networking activities. The following brief summary deals with what
the EIIPD has done in these major areas.
EIIPD launched ToT
programmes were held in five sessions

EIIPD started training its trainers in Addis
Ababa for two days on September 17&18, 2007. Initially we trained 30
trainers from legal enforcement agencies, covering 13 women and 17men.

Authorities attended the training, of which 8 were women and 16 were men .

total of 39 workshops and seminars each with an average duration of ten
days were conducted and 3500 participants benefited from the programs.
